Ron Newton‎ Glen's God-given adventurous spirit became readily evident when he and I started a carpentry business together during our seminary days. Both of us had darling kids who inconveniently came equipped with mouths to feed. Glen thought we could increase our income by owning our own business and charging a whopping $6 per hour! [We were making $2.25 per hour working at the seminary maintenance shop beforehand.] So we each took out a $300 loan – huge for the time – purchased an old bread delivery truck and a few tools, then "shut our eyes and stepped on the gas" as Glen would say – my first exposure to the bodacious modus operandi of high energy helter-skelter through which God used him to touch many people. My dear old friend Glen. I'll meet you in the middle.
