John Boyd "He who has been forgiven much, loves much." In memory of GPR. Today I lost one of the best friends i ever had; a brother, mentor, soul-mate and fellow traveler in life; child and servant of God: Glen Riddle, who lost his life in a motorcycle accident yesterday in Thailand. His wife Joy was also injured and is currently in surgery. I am in shock and am feeling very sad. My heart was knit with his, similar to that of the biblical David and Jonathon. My heart and prayers go out to Joy, Douglas and Sima, Andy and A.D., and the rest of the family. I am with you all in your loss. And yet at the same time I have joy for him that he is with the Lord, the precious Savior for whom he lived and died so richly. Glen never feared death, he figured he should have been gone many many years ago based on his earlier choices; and he counted each day as another opportunity to love God and serve Him and others. He was deeply conscious of God’s grace and forgiveness, and his own failings, and wanted to dedicate his life to helping others understand that grace. Glen, you did. We know more of His grace because of you and your life. I am glad I knew you, and loved you, and were loved by you. No one can replace you, you were unique. And we know Him better because of you. And you little booger, you got the jump on us; you got there first!! We had so many plans for the future, but there are Higher Plans to fit into. You poured your life into so many, and perhaps they will carry on your vision, His vision, in ministry, theology, and explaining God’s love and grace. Thank you for your life, your friendship, your heart, your belief in me, your trust, and your unconditional love. I will join you in His time. <3 You ran with gusto my brother. You have now crossed the finish line, and your faith and love inspire us still. - good memories of running in marathons, relaxing after the race, and at a meeting of the Tres Amigos Y Una Arwen McGilvra Wow, so shocking to hear this. We will be praying for Joy and family. But as my mom said Glen lived his life full tilt for Jesus. So there must be a party in heaven today. He loved discussing upcoming marathons, and looking over our personal records in past events. He was going for 100 marathons by the time he was 100.... quite a challenge, and he was well on his way when his knee stopped that dream. He loved making up new and ingenious 'records' for us, like "Only member to do “Chicken Ballerina” dance after marathon" (kudo's to JIm for that one!) and "Only member to break 'hambone' " (me) . He had a huge line of medals in his home, up and down the stairs, which he later took down, telling me he didn't want that to be the focus. The race he ran by his life was much more glorious than any marathon he ever ran (including the Wall of China one!)! " I have run the great Race; I have finished the Course; I have kept the Faith." 2Tim 4:7

Sima Kainee-Riddle 2 days before I left for Nepal to get a visa and visit my family. My Dad Glenden Paul Riddle send greetings to my mom and dad in Nepal speaking Thai language. after 2 weeks later he was in a motorcycle accident. I miss u. love you always
