Glen worked with me in Nepal for 6 or 7 years. He was always faithful to be there and teach his assigned groups. They loved him and I often heard reports from the students that Glen is a great teacher. I could just send Glen the schedule of class dates and the course to be taught and he was there.

One of the students in a group in Nepal, near Mount Everest, was starting a new 2nd generation group and wanted Glen to come to the first meeting to encourage the new students. Glen went with him. They traveled for several hours on a bus and then walked for a full day to get to the group. It was very remote and very mountainous. But Glen was there and wanted to go back at some point.

Of course if there are a marathon anywhere near where he was teaching he would run. In fact, he was known to schedule his teaching assignments around marathons. Glen was teaching in Pokhara, Nepal and when the sessions ended they needed to get back to Kathmandu so Glen could leave the next morning. They could not fly, so decided to take a bus. This trip is through mountains and the drivers are bad. I made the bus trip once and decided to never do it again. However, Glen was determined to get to Kathmandu. There were no more seats available on the bus, so Glen and his interpreter rode on the roof of the bus all the way back to Kathmandu. About a 6 hour trip. I would have been terrified but Glen loved it.
